Tracy Katelman is a board member of the California Fire Safe Council. The California Fire Safe Council's mission is to preserve and enhance California's manmade and natural resources by providing leadership and support that mobilizes all Californians to protect their homes, communities and environment from wildfires.

Until 2006, she was the Environmental CoChair of the Alliance for Sustainable Jobs and Environment (ASJE). For several years Tracy was the CoChair for ASJE's principal project, the North Coast Restoration Jobs Initiative. In September 2006, she became ASJE's Executive Director, a position she will fill until November 2007.

Tracy participates with many local and regional organizations, especially those committed to ecologically sustainable management of our forests, including the Forest Guild, the Buckeye Forest Project, Rural Voices for Conservation Coalition, and The Petrolia School.
